ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. — A quiet Monday afternoon turned into a scene of tragedy after a deadly shooting claimed the lives of two young men in broad daylight. According to authorities, Alexander City Police were dispatched at approximately 1 p.m. to the intersection of Third Street and 10th Avenue following a 911 call reporting gunfire. When officers arrived, they discovered a disturbing scene — a silver Hyundai Elantra riddled with bullets and two victims inside.

Police identified the victims as Fitzgerald Wilson, 19, and Rafiel Riggins, 20. Both young men were found inside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
