PEORIA, AZ — A shocking and deeply tragic incident has left a Peoria community reeling after a man allegedly killed his own parents and then called police to report the crime. The heartbreaking incident unfolded Tuesday evening, turning a quiet neighborhood into the center of a disturbing investigation.

According to Peoria police, the incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. at a home near 83rd Avenue and Jomax Road. Authorities say 29-year-old Jonathan Turk contacted police himself and confessed to stabbing his parents to death. The call prompted officers to respond immediately to the residence.

When officers arrived, they found Turk outside the home waiting calmly for their arrival. He was taken into custody without incident. Police then entered the house, where they made the grim discovery of two victims inside. Both individuals had suffered fatal stab wounds.

The victims have been identified as Fraser Turk, 63, and Tina Turk, 56.
