According to the Wilson Police Department, emergency crews were called to Mercer Street shortly before 5 p.m. after reports of a serious situation involving a person and a vehicle. When first responders arrived, they found a man trapped beneath the front passenger side of a vehicle. Crews worked together carefully to reach him, using coordinated efforts to safely remove him from underneath the car. The man was later identified as Nacgaleno De La Cruz.
