The community of Shreveport is mourning after a deadly late-night shooting claimed the life of a man found inside a vehicle on Thursday. The victim has been identified as Choncy Moore, whose sudden death has left family, friends, and neighbors in shock.

According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers responded just after 11 p.m. to reports of multiple gunshots in the 700 block of West 70th Street. The area, located near St. Vincent Avenue and Dowdell Street, quickly became an active crime scene as police rushed to investigate the disturbing calls.

When officers arrived, they discovered Moore inside a yellow car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
