Ashley Sotelo killed in Fatal I-45 Crash in Conroe

CONROE, Texas — The community is grieving the tragic loss of Ashley Sotelo, who passed away on the night of March 25, 2026, following a devastating crash along Interstate 45 in nearby The Woodlands. Her sudden death has left family, friends, and loved ones in deep sorrow as they struggle to cope with the loss.

According to officials, the accident happened around 10:45 p.m. on I-45 southbound near Rayford Road. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find Ashley’s vehicle overturned on its roof. She was discovered in traumatic cardiac arrest, and first responders immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle struck a guardrail before flipping over. During the crash, Ashley was ejected from the vehicle, which contributed to the severity of her injuries.
