LIBERAL, Kan. — The Liberal community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 22-year-old Elijio Beltran, who was killed early Sunday morning in a violent rollover crash along U.S. Highway 83 in Seward County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 3 a.m. near the Liberal Animal Shelter. Troopers reported that a 1999 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound when, for reasons still unknown, the truck veered onto a curb.
