66-year-old Toni Hudson Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree Along KY 100 in Allen County

A quiet afternoon in Scottsville turned tragic Monday after a single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Tennessee woman. According to Kentucky State Police Post 03 in Bowling Green, troopers received a call around 4:30 p.m. about a possible fatal collision in Allen County. The crash occurred in the 2800 block of KY 100, also known as Franklin Road.

Preliminary findings show that a black Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on Franklin Road when the vehicle suddenly left the roadway. Investigators say the car then struck a tree along the side of the road. Authorities have not yet said what caused the vehicle to exit the roadway, and the exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.

The driver was identified as 66-year-old Toni Hudson of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, but despite their efforts, Hudson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Officials said there were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The sudden loss has left family members and the community grieving. While few details have been released about Hudson, authorities confirmed she was the sole victim in the collision. The stretch of KY 100 where the crash occurred was temporarily affected as first responders worked the scene and investigators gathered evidence.

The investigation is being led by Trooper Cullen Cox with Kentucky State Police. He was assisted at the scene by Allen County EMS, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and additional KSP personnel. Officials carefully documented the scene to determine what may have contributed to the deadly crash.

Kentucky State Police say the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not indicated whether speed, medical issues, or other factors may have played a role. More information is expected to be released as the investigation continues and troopers work to determine the exact cause of the tragic accident.
