NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — The community of North Charleston is reeling after the tragic death of 27-year-old Terrance Bolger, who was fatally shot early Sunday morning, November 2, in the parking lot of the Aqua Event Center on Rivers Avenue. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Bolger died from a gunshot wound at 1:59 a.m., according to Chief Deputy Coroner Brittney Martin.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of gunfire just before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Bolger suffering from fatal injuries. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities also confirmed that a woman was injured during the incident and was transported to a nearby hospital.
