Missing Pregnant Woman Rebecca Park Found Deceased After 21-Day Search

The Traverse City community is grieving after the tragic discovery of Rebecca Park, a 39-weeks-pregnant woman who had been missing for 21 days. Her father confirmed the devastating news on November 25, 2025, telling 9&10 News that he found her body himself while searching tirelessly for his daughter. The heartbreaking end to the weeks-long search has left family, friends, and residents shocked and mourning a life cut short.

Rebecca was last seen late on the night of November 4, around 11:30 p.m., getting into the passenger seat of a dark-colored vehicle outside a relative’s home on South 21½ Road. Her mother, Courtney Bartholomew, was the final person to see her alive. As concern grew, a $12,000 reward was offered in hopes of finding information that could lead investigators to her.

Authorities from the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police conducted extensive searches in the days and weeks that followed, combing the area where she was last spotted. Community members also organized volunteer searches, though deputies noted that some independent groups were not acting under law enforcement direction. Despite these efforts, no substantial evidence surfaced during the initial search period.

Officials have clarified that, as of now, there is no direct evidence indicating Rebecca was assaulted, and they dismissed social media claims that bloody clothing had been recovered. Details regarding her pregnancy have not been released. The lack of clear information has left the community with many unanswered questions as they await further updates from investigators.

No arrests have been made in connection with the case, and the sheriff’s office has stated that information will be released as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, loved ones and community members are holding onto memories of Rebecca—a soon-to-be mother whose disappearance sparked widespread concern and whose loss is deeply felt across the region.

As the investigation moves forward, the community remains united in grief, hoping for answers, justice, and healing for Rebecca’s family during this unimaginable time.
