CAMDEN, N.J. — Authorities in Camden County are investigating a heartbreaking incident that left a 26-year-old man dead early Thursday morning. According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, the shooting occurred around 6:41 a.m. on November 6, 2025, in the 1200 block of Chase Street. Officers from the Camden County Police Department arrived after receiving reports of possible gunfire and found a man unresponsive on the porch of a home.
The victim has been identified as Premire Wilson, a resident of Camden. Emergency medical crews rushed to the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:25 a.m. Despite the efforts of first responders, Wilson could not be saved. His death has shocked the local community, with many expressing sadness over the sudden and senseless loss of a young life.
Detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Camden County Police Department are leading the investigation.
