SELMA — Authorities in Selma are investigating a deadly residential fire that claimed the life of a woman Tuesday afternoon, leaving a west-side neighborhood shaken and mourning the sudden loss. According to local officials, fire crews were dispatched after reports of a house fire in the area. Upon arrival, firefighters found the home significantly impacted by flames and smoke. Family members identified the victim as a 64-year-old woman, Lelene Gordon who lived at the residence.
