31-Year-Old Kaleb Isabell Killed in Park Shooting in Crawfordsville

Authorities in Crawfordsville are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night at Milligan Park, leaving the community mourning the loss of 31-year-old Kaleb Isabell of Rockville. The shocking incident has prompted a coordinated response from multiple agencies as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding the deadly altercation.

According to the Crawfordsville Police Department, officers were dispatched around 9:55 p.m. after the Montgomery County Central Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a shooting at the park. Upon arrival, officers discovered Isabell suffering from a gunshot injury. Emergency responders immediately transported him to Franciscan Health Crawfordsville for treatment.

Despite efforts by medical personnel, Isabell was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities confirmed that the gunshot wounds sustained in the incident were fatal. The sudden death has left family, friends, and neighbors in deep shock, as the community struggles to process the unexpected loss of a young man.

Investigators reported that several persons of interest were quickly located and detained following the shooting.
