29-Year-Old Justin Fuller killed in Tragic Motorcycle Crash Near Lakeland

A tragic accident in central Florida has claimed the life of a young man, leaving family, friends, and the community mourning a loss that came far too soon. Authorities confirmed that 29-year-old Justin Lane Fuller died Saturday night, March 7, 2026, following a devastating motorcycle crash near Lakeland. The heartbreaking incident has left loved ones grieving and searching for answers after the sudden loss.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a crash around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of County Line Road and Gateway Boulevard, located just west of Lakeland. The call initially reported a pedestrian being struck in the roadway. However, when first responders arrived at the scene, they quickly discovered the victim had actually been involved in a motorcycle crash.

Investigators later determined that Fuller had been riding a burgundy 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on County Line Road. For reasons that remain under investigation, authorities say the motorcycle suddenly went down, causing Fuller to be thrown from the bike.

Officials reported that after being ejected, Fuller tumbled approximately 75 feet before coming to rest in the southbound lane of the roadway. In the tragic moments that followed, he was struck by two vehicles traveling in that direction. Authorities confirmed that both drivers immediately stopped at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators.

During the investigation, deputies located a motorcycle helmet near Fuller at the crash site. However, authorities have not yet confirmed whether he was wearing the helmet at the time of the accident. Due to the seriousness of the incident and the amount of debris scattered across the roadway, County Line Road was shut down in both directions for nearly four hours while investigators carefully documented the scene and gathered evidence.

While the investigation continues, the focus has turned to remembering the life of the young man who was lost. Fuller, a resident of Plant City, was described by those who knew him as someone full of energy who lived life with passion. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office extended its condolences to his family and friends as they face the painful reality of his sudden passing and begin the difficult process of mourning a life gone far too soon.
