ARTESIA, N.M. — A community is grieving the tragic loss of Ivan Ortiz, affectionately known as “Liloso,” whose life was taken far too soon in a senseless act of violence. According to the Artesia Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:10 p.m. to the ABO Apartments, located at 700 N. 10th Street, after reports of a shooting.
