Myrtle Point Man, Bryce Randall Killed in Coquille Shooting; George Jones Arrested

COQUILLE, Ore. — A deadly shooting early Monday morning in Coquille has left a 25-year-old man dead and authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The victim, identified as Bryce Randall of Myrtle Point, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a gunshot wound.

According to North Coos 911, deputies were dispatched in the early hours of February 2, 2026, to a residence near Highway 42 following reports of a disturbance. When law enforcement arrived, they found Randall injured and immediately called for emergency medical assistance. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Randall was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the shooting stemmed from a conflict between individuals at the residence. Preliminary findings indicate that the confrontation escalated, resulting in gunfire.
