Authorities in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania are investigating a tragic motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a young woman Tuesday evening in Pine Grove Township. The fatal collision has left family members and residents mourning as officials work to determine the circumstances that led to the heartbreaking incident.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. along East Pottsville Road in Pine Grove Township, Pennsylvania. Emergency responders were called to the scene after reports came in about a serious crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle. Police and medical crews quickly arrived to assist those involved.

Investigators say the motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Felicia Moyer of Auburn, Pennsylvania, was traveling eastbound on East Pottsville Road at the time of the crash. Preliminary findings from authorities indicate that another vehicle was attempting to make a left turn from a nearby parking lot onto the roadway when the collision occurred.

The turning vehicle and Moyer’s motorcycle collided, causing severe injuries to the young rider. First responders immediately began providing emergency medical care at the scene. Due to the seriousness of her injuries, Moyer was transported to a nearby hospital where doctors worked to save her life.
