SNYDER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA — A tragic traffic collision on Monday morning has claimed the life of a 64-year-old man, prompting an ongoing investigation by state police. The crash, which involved a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer, caused major disruptions and left the local community shaken.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. along U.S. Route 522 in Franklin Township, near the Middleburg, Pennsylvania area. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched after receiving reports of a serious collision involving two vehicles.

Preliminary findings from investigators indicate that a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Route 522 when a pickup truck entered the roadway from a private driveway. The two vehicles then collided, resulting in heavy damage to both. The force of the crash left the pickup truck severely impacted.
