NORTH PORT, Fla. — The North Port community is reeling after the tragic and disturbing death of 32-year-old Tiffany B. Schiessl, who was killed during a violent incident inside a home on Brassy Loop. According to authorities, North Port police responded to a 911 call around 11:27 a.m. Sunday from 46-year-old Coy Pearson Bothwell. During the call, Bothwell reportedly claimed there had been a burglary and told dispatchers that a woman had entered the home with scissors and was unresponsive. The call raised immediate concern, prompting officers to respond quickly to the residence.

When officers arrived, they discovered Schiessl lying near the front entryway inside the home. She was unresponsive and had suffered fatal injuries.
