The Raleigh community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of 40-year-old Jose Alberto Francisco-Perez, who died early Friday morning following a devastating rollover crash. The accident occurred along Interstate 42, formerly known as U.S. 70 Bypass, near the Wake County line, leaving family and friends in deep sorrow.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:23 a.m. when a 2008 Ford Ranger traveling westbound ran off the road to the right. Authorities say the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to veer back across the roadway before overturning multiple times.
