READING, Pa. — The community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 21-year-old Aleah Marie Kaylor of Laureldale Borough, who died in a tragic single-vehicle crash on Friday morning. Her sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors in deep sorrow as they remember a young life taken too soon.
According to authorities, the crash occurred around 10:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Morgantown Road. Officials said Kaylor was driving her Chevrolet Cruze when she approached a curve in the roadway. For reasons still under investigation, she was unable to safely navigate the turn, leading to a devastating sequence of events.
Police reported that the vehicle struck a guardrail before leaving the roadway. The car then continued off the road and came to a stop with part of it submerged in Angelica Creek. The position of the vehicle and the force of the crash made the situation extremely serious and difficult for rescuers.

The tragic outcome has left many in shock, especially those who knew her personally.
Investigators say the cause of the crash is still being reviewed. Authorities are working to understand what factors may have contributed, including road conditions, speed, or possible driver-related issues. They have not released further details but confirmed that the investigation remains active.
