According to authorities, Matthew was wearing a helmet when a car turned left into his path, causing the collision that ultimately claimed his life.
Matthew was the son of Dawn and Michael Dolan, a well-known Leesburg family who own several local businesses, including Holiday Marine, Lake Harris Boat Rentals, and Adventure Boat Share.
