Authorities reported that the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of FM 2055 and FM 2056. Officials identified the victim as Martin Alexander Gonzales Rangel, 19, of Denver City. He was a passenger in the GMC Sierra and was pronounced dead at the scene. His sudden passing has left family members and friends heartbroken as they mourn the loss of a young life taken too soon.

The driver of the GMC sustained minor injuries and was transported to Yoakum County Hospital for treatment. Two additional passengers in the same vehicle suffered serious injuries and were also taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford F-150 was seriously injured and was transported to University Medical Center for advanced medical care.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
