The quiet community of Lexington has been left in shock and mourning after a tragic early-morning shooting claimed the lives of a woman and her young son on March 18, 2026. According to the Centennial Lakes Police Department, officers responded at approximately 12:52 a.m. to a home near the 9300 block of Ryan Place following reports of gunfire.
