The communities of Statesville and Morganton are mourning the loss of 78-year-old Lee Glover, who died Monday morning in a tragic single-vehicle crash along Interstate 40 in Iredell County. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 9:52 a.m. near the 154-mile marker on the eastbound side of the interstate. Investigators said Glover had been driving a 2010 Toyota Highlander eastbound on I-40 when he lost control of the vehicle.
