26-Year-Old Keundrae McLemore killed in Pine Bluff Shooting

Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot Tuesday night in Pine Bluff as 26-year-old Keundrae McLemore. Police confirmed that his family has now been notified as investigators continue working to determine what led to the deadly shooting that shocked the local community.

According to the Pine Bluff Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:45 p.m. on March 10, 2026, after reports of gunshots were heard in the area near the intersection of Port Road and Kansas Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man lying in the roadway near the northwest corner of the intersection.

Police said the man was unresponsive and appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders quickly assessed the situation, but despite their efforts, the victim could not be saved. A representative from the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office pronounced the man dead at the scene shortly after officers arrived.

While securing the area, officers also discovered another male nearby close to the intersection of Port Road and Byrd Street. Authorities said the second individual had suffered minor gunshot wounds during the incident. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for treatment, where medical staff confirmed that his injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators say the case remains in its early stages, and there is currently no suspect information available. McLemore’s body will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause and manner of death.
