According to the Alamo Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 3:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of West Frontage Road, near the Alamo Rec and RV Park, after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. Investigators believe the vehicle involved in the crash may be a gray or silver Nissan Rogue from model years 2020 to 2023. Authorities say the vehicle likely sustained noticeable damage to the front right bumper and may have a broken passenger-side mirror as a result of the collision. The driver failed to stop and render aid, leaving the scene immediately after the crash.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues. Residents and businesses in the area along West Frontage Road between Alamo Road and Cesar Chavez Road are being asked to review surveillance footage recorded between 3:15 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Investigators believe security cameras in the area may have captured images of the suspect vehicle before or after the incident.

Community members are also being asked to watch for any gray Nissan Rogue that may show recent damage to the front right side or signs of recent repairs consistent with the crash. As the search for answers continues, loved ones are remembering the life of Ismael Alemán and the impact he made on those around him. His passing leaves a profound void, and the community remains united in hope that those responsible will be identified and brought to justice.
