NEDERLAND, Texas — The Nederland community is grieving the devastating loss of 17-year-old Jose Manuel Banda, a student at Nederland High School, who was killed Tuesday afternoon in an auto-pedestrian crash in Jefferson County. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Highway 69 North at Spurlock Road.
