MILLCREEK, Utah — Family members have identified the man killed in a Sunday evening auto-pedestrian crash in Millcreek as Anthony Aragon, 41, who was known to family and friends as Tony. The tragic incident happened during the early evening hours and has left loved ones mourning the sudden loss of a father and family member.
Unified Police and Unified Fire responded to the crash around 6:20 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 3900 South and 1215 East. Officers said they arrived to find a man who had been struck by a vehicle. Emergency crews quickly provided medical aid at the scene before rushing Aragon to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Despite doctors’ efforts, Aragon later died from his injuries, police confirmed. Authorities said the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
