VERMILION PARISH, La. — A Sunday afternoon outing ended in heartbreak after a 14-year-old boy was killed in a tragic all-terrain vehicle crash in Vermilion Parish. Authorities confirmed that Elijah Benoit, of Gueydan, lost his life when the side-by-side ATV he was riding overturned and landed in a nearby canal.
