A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken the community of Tiffin, Ohio, after a murder-suicide on Wednesday night left four people dead, including two young brothers—one 7 years old and the other just 7 months old. According to Tiffin Police, the violence unfolded in the 100 block of Huss Street around 6:30 p.m. on November 19, when 42-year-old Ryan Eagon opened fire during what authorities say was a domestic situation that had been escalating for some time.
Police reported that Eagon’s wife, Raven Broski, had been removing her belongings from the home earlier in the day due to ongoing domestic issues. Believing Eagon was out of town for work, she was accompanied by her former partner, 29-year-old Dustin Willey, who is the father of her 7-year-old son, Wrenn. As the adults gathered items inside, the two children—Wrenn and Eagon’s 7-month-old son, August—waited outside near a vehicle. Moments later, a cry from the older child alerted the adults that something was terribly wrong.
When Broski and Willey went to check on the children, they encountered Eagon, who had suddenly arrived in the driveway. Authorities say Eagon pushed past Broski, began chasing Willey, and opened fire. In a horrifying sequence of events described by investigators, Eagon then turned the gun on both children before shooting Willey again. After killing all three victims, Eagon used the weapon on himself. Broski, though physically unharmed, was found inside the home “overwhelmed and visibly traumatized,” police said.
Emergency crews rushed Willey and the 7-year-old to area hospitals, but both died from their wounds. Eagon and the infant were pronounced dead at the scene. Family members later confirmed that the baby, August, was Eagon’s biological son. In a social media post, the grandmother of 7-year-old Wrenn identified the children and expressed the family’s profound grief.
Friends of Willey described him as a devoted father who deeply loved his son and never hesitated to help others. They said he was simply trying to support the mother of his child as she attempted to leave a dangerous situation. His death, alongside the deaths of both children, has left the community shaken and mourning an unimaginable loss.
Broski later shared a heartbreaking message on Facebook, expressing the unbearable pain of witnessing the deaths of her sons. “My babies were 7… 7 years & 7 months… my whole life is gone,” she wrote. As investigators continue to review the case, the community is rallying around the grieving mother, offering support in the wake of a tragedy that has left Tiffin reeling.
