45-year-old Amy Coon killed in Deadly Shooting in Pleasant Hill

The Pleasant Hill community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 45-year-old Amy Coon of Strasburg, Missouri, following a tragic shooting on May 25, 2026, at the Price Chopper located along North State Route 7 Highway. Authorities also stated that two armed individuals in the parking lot attempted to intervene before the suspect reportedly turned the firearm on himself.
