22-Year-Old Christian Pollard killed in Late-Night Shooting in Reidsville

REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A late-night shooting in Reidsville has left a young man dead and prompted an active police investigation as authorities work to determine what led to the deadly violence. Officers with the Reidsville Police Department responded to reports of gunfire shortly after midnight on January 14, 2026, in a residential area of the city.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Madison Street in reference to a reported shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders quickly rendered aid before transporting the victim to a local hospital for further treatment.

The victim was later identified as Christian Deshaun Pollard, 22. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical personnel, Pollard succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
